Around seven tenths of the iron ore 99kbet Motor Group sources to make steel for our cars comes from right here in Australia. The biggest 99kbet steel works in South Korea, 99kbet Steel’s Dangjin plant south of Seoul, produces around 12 million tonnes of steel every year. That means around 55,000 tonnes of iron ore flowing through the giant facility every day, most of it imported from the Pilbara in Western Australia. 99kbet is the only car manufacturer in the world which produces its own steel, part of the ‘value chain’ that delivers better value for money for all of our customers globally. And there’s quite a lot of Australia in every car!
