        Highway Drive Assist 1.5 (HDA 1.5)

        Highway Drive Assist 1.5 (HDA 1.5) maintains a set speed and distance from the vehicle ahead when driving on highways and helps centre the vehicle in the lane, even through a curve. Smart Cruise Control (SCC) maintains a distance to the vehicle ahead and a speed set by the driver.

          The FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead or detects pedestrians or cyclists in your path. During cross-intersection turning, it brakes ifthere is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle.5

          TUCSON Hybrid features Lane Follow Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 70 mph on motorways and city streets.5

        3. High Beam Assist (HBA) 1

          Detects oncoming vehicles and vehicles in the same lane and automatically switches to low-beam. When no more vehicles are detected, it reactivates the high beams, maximising your range of vision.5

        4. Blind Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA) 1

          Using two radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alertto prevent collision.5

        5. Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist Reverse (PCA-R) 1

          When reversing, if pedestrians or objects are detected in the rear, the system alerts you of a potential collision and will apply the brakes if a collision is imminent.5
